Conrad Nashville Review: A Luxurious 5 Star Hotel in Nashville, TN
Just a 20-minute walk from Broadway, you’ll find Conrad Nashville, a thoughtfully designed hotel with an incredible on-site restaurant, beautiful city views, and relaxing rooftop pool, plus the most well stocked hotel gym I’ve ever seen!
This is Conrad Nashville, a luxurious 5-star hotel in Nashville, TN that will elevate your stay so you can party at the honkytonks to your heart’s desire but come back to the peak of comfort and luxury.

Where is Conrad Nashville?
The address is 1620 West End Ave. in Midtown. Specifically, you’ll find the hotel at the corner of West End Ave. and Broadway, just up the street from all the action on Honky Tonk Highway.
It’s about a 20 minute walk to Lower Broadway (where Honky Tonk Highway is), a 5 minute drive to the Parthenon, and a 25 minute drive to the Grand Ole Opry.
We made the walk to Bridgestone Arena and it was a breeze!
What parking is available and how much does it cost?
Valet and self-parking options are available. The valet is at the front as expected, but the self-parking is in a hidden lot under the hotel, which you access from Hayes Street, the block behind Broadway.
Valet costs $52 per day with in and out access while self-parking is $25 without in/out access.
Luckily, you can walk or take an inexpensive ride share to Lower Broadway, where Honky Tonk Highway and much of the action is, so in and out access isn’t entirely necessary. If you plan to visit farther Nashville activities like the Grand Ole Opry or The Parthenon in Centennial Park, you may want to drive your own car.

First Impressions
Lobby
When you first walk in, you’re greeted with high ceilings, sleek furniture, stunning chandeliers, and floor to ceiling windows that scream luxury.
The lobby is quite spread out, but rather than feeling too large, it feels like a nice open floor plan. The check-in counter is surrounded by smooth wood beams, so you almost feel like you’ve stepped into a spa.
From the lobby, you can access the bar and main restaurant, Blue Aster, but more on that later.

Food and Drink
Blue Aster Restaurant
The main restaurant on site is Blue Aster, which gives off an elevated 70s lounge with lots of beautiful greenery and swanky built-in leather booths.
They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Blue Aster, so you can keep returning to try more of their amazing menu
For breakfast, we had a standard American plated breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes and let me tell ya, those potatoes were AMAZING. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Yum!

We also visited Blue Aster for dinner before seeing a concert at Bridgestone Arena. We sampled a few things – buffalo burrata panzanella, little gem Caesar salad, cavatelli with lobster and tomato butter, and their house bread.
Everything was plated so beautiful, you just hate to destroy it, but that’s precisely what we did because everything was so delicious. We devoured that meal.
The standout was certainly the house bread, which was served on a hot stone with fresh herbs that were cooked in front of you. I won’t lie, I ate the entire loaf. No regrets!

The appetizers and entrée were just as great. I especially loved the fried grit croutons on the Caesar salad.
For dessert, I enjoyed a chocolate scoop (or really 3) of Jeni’s Ice Cream, a local favorite ice cream joint!
Not going to lie, as a new purveyor of luxury hotel experiences, it did feel a bit silly to eat local ice cream out of an elegant glass dish with perfectly sliced strawberry on top. But hey, the ice cream was phenomenal so who cares how it’s delivered to you.

Thistle and Rye Cocktail Bar
The other main establishment on site is Thistle and Rye, a cocktail bar serving small plates of street food. Unfortunately, they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which just so happens to be when I was visiting.
Although, if it’s anything like the quality of Blue Aster, I just know it’s good!
Lobby Bar
In the lobby, outside of Blue Aster, there is a cocktail bar as well. This seemed like the perfect place to unwind with a drink in a more casual setting. The furniture here was also on brand with Blue Aster, fitting the 70s lounge theme with leather chairs and couches.

Amenities
Pool
I absolutely love a rooftop pool! They always have the best views and you don’t feel like your pool day is being broadcast to anyone walking by on street level. That’s a win in my book.
The pool at Conrad Nashville was lovely. There is only one pool that is thin and long, similar to a lap pool without feeling like its sole purpose is exercise.
There is no jacuzzi, but what it lacks in that department, it makes up for in amenities and the quality of those amenities.
Spa water is provided free and kept nice and cold, which is especially appreciated because the pool does face some intense sun reflected by the panels on the hotel’s exterior.
The pool’s restrooms are kept clean.
The chairs, umbrellas, and side tables are also well kept and very comfortable. Cabanas are available, as well.
There are plenty of plush towels on the chairs and on shelves, so you don’t need to worry about conserving just one towel per person.
Finally, there is pool staff that takes food and drink orders to keep you well fed and pampered while relaxing by the pool.
Adjacent to the pool area, there was also an outdoor rooftop space with tables and lounge chairs for more relaxation space.

Fitness Center
You may not know this about me, but I’m a bit of a hobbyist gym goer. I’ve been weightlifting for 10 years, so I know what makes a good gym. Sure, you can do a lot with very little, that’s one of the beauties of exercise, but I’m happy to report the Conrad Nashville had one of the most well-stocked gyms I’ve ever seen.
They had weights that went beyond many hotels’ typical 35-50 lb limit, which is nice for men in particular who need higher weights. They had adjustable benches (and more than 1!), exercise balls, stepping platforms, weighted balls, kettlebells, pulley systems, and of course lots of cardio equipment including bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills aplenty.
They also had free fruit, water bottles, and towels and were playing exercise videos on the TV so you could follow along if you needed guidance.
The gym facility also had restrooms, which is a nice touch.

Internet
While you may expect WiFi to cost a pretty penny in a 5-star hotel, standard internet access is free.
You’ll just need to enter your room number and the last name of the person that the reservation is under and you’ll be connected in no time.
We found the speed to be just fine for our uses – web browsing and streaming services. We never noticed a lack of connection or slow connection.

Room Review
We booked a king room where the room itself was stunning with floor to ceiling windows, the most incredible headboard and couch combination, sleek closet built ins, and a marble bathroom with a beautiful walk in shower and double vanity.
Of course, a flat screen TV was available with connections to streaming services. The mini fridge was stocked with minibar and the drawer above it had the most wonderful collection of local Tennessee snacks including Proper Popcorn, from my very own Knoxville, Tennessee!

Our room was quite clean and smelled divine. We’ve come a long way from cigarette infused, grimy motels. Thank god.
We slept very well, and the bed and bedding was seriously so comfortable, we didn’t want to leave the next morning for breakfast.
The curtains were controlled via remote, so we could close them at night and open them incrementally in the morning to wake up at the touch of a button!

The air conditioning was easy to use and worked perfectly. As someone who always likes the room cold, I didn’t have a problem with a lower limit pre-set on the unit, which was appreciated.
A word on the toiletries, because we loved them so much. I don’t know what these things were laced with, but they were the Mojave Ghost scent by Byredo (a $200 for 50 mL perfume by the way). I cannot tell you how obsessed with this scent we were. I wanted to bring it all home and savor it. I want this scent as a car air freshener and my laundry detergent and in a candle. I want it everywhere!
Try a sample of it here for only $21 (idk, it really might be worth it).
Anyway, the room had beautiful city views and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful.

How much it costs to stay at Conrad Nashville
This really was our first 5 star experience because as former student travelers, it wasn’t in the budget to be springing for such fine hotels.
However, I recently got into travel hacking, and while I still consider myself a novice on that front, we were able to capitalize on some perks of our American Express Platinum card (a favorite of mine!).

Because this hotel is part of their Fine Hotel + Resorts collection, we receive $200 hotel credit when booking one of these hotels. But, that’s not all!
You also get complimentary check in at noon, late 4pm check out, room upgrades if available, daily breakfast for 2, and an experience credit. For Conrad Nashville, the experience credit was an additional $100 dining credit, so our dinner at Blue Aster was essentially free.
The total cost of the booking (without the hotel credit) was $325 for our dates and time of year.
Room prices start from $239 and only go up depending on dates and room types.
Blue Aster appetizers were around $20 each with entrees around $40. Breakfast entrees were $20 each on average.
Overall, if you’re looking for a luxurious 5-star Nashville hotel, the Conrad by Hilton is a fantastic choice and worth the splurge!
